Crew
Captain
Bill Snyder Sr. - Captain Bill is owner and operator of HI HOOK II.
He holds a 100 ton U.S.C.G. Master's License. Captain Bill has been professionally
charter fishing for over 25 years. Although he has fished from Alaska to
Costa Rica, the bulk of his more than 40 years' experience has been in local
NJ waters. Captain Bill, Hofstra University alumnus, served in the U.S.
Army as 1st Lieutenant, and worked for a large publishing company for 40
years where he was Vice President and also their Corporate Pilot. |

 Captain
Bill Snyder Jr. - Captain Bill Jr. holds a 100 ton U.S.C.G. Master's
License. Like his father, he has been professionally charter fishing for
over 25 years. Captain Bill Jr. was employed as Senior Captain of the
Spirit Cruise Line and currently is a Senior Captain for New York Waterway,
a high speed-jet powered commuter ferry between New Jersey and Manhattan.
When Captain Bill Jr. is not running the HI HOOK II, he will most likely
be found as Captain for some of the other local charter or open fishing
boats.

Mates
- Our Mates are experienced in inshore and offshore fishing. They work
hard to ensure your day aboard the HI HOOK II is a memorable and enjoyable
experience. They are responsible for rigging baits, gaffing fish and cleaning
and packaging your catch. Our Mates will also coach less experienced fishermen.
A 20% tip for the Mate is customary. |
