July 2008
Summer is here and the fishing usually slows up but it has been a strange season. The fishing is holding up! We are doing well with striped bass at night and there are plenty of fluke to be had but it has been difficult to find "keepers" within the 18" minimum. Of course bluefish are always around. We are hoping the weakfish will make an appearance soon - as they did in past years.
Offshore tuna are also starting to show. If the weather holds, it should be a good summer for fishing and, hopefully, a great Fall.
